3d Works

I started 3D modeling using CAD software in high school, and grew my skills throughout college. I've done work in technical drawings, 3D animations, and game design.

The derby car animation and game combination was a university project which challenged me to be accurate, precise, and innovative with level design. Attention to detail was crucial in this because one minor error in Unity or Maya can set a project back by a whole day.

Below are examples of CAD work I've done. Most of the work I've done in CAD has been lost, unfortunately, due to the files remaining on servers I don't have access to anymore. Below are a couple personal projects I did. The first is a design challenge based on the fact that people with poor eyesight cannot differentiate between travel sized toiletries while in the shower. My solution was to emboss the first letter of the contents on the outside of the bottle. I went with the letters themselves over braille because not everyone who would benefit from this can read braille, and I wanted the most universal solution I could find. The second image is of a kitchen knife that I modeled precisely off of a drawing. The knife design is courtesy of Alec Steele Co.
